Demonstrating a firm commitment to youth empowerment and talent retention, the Special Adviser on Media to Kogi State Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, has retained Miss Tosin Toluwaloju, an outstanding NYSC corps member who recently completed her service year in his office.

The announcement came during a send-forth ceremony held at the Media Centre, Government House, Lokoja, where Hon. Isah commended Miss Toluwaloju for her exceptional growth, dedication, and willingness to learn while working with the Lugard TV team.

Describing her as a standout contributor, Hon. Isah noted that her time at Lugard TV, an extension of his office was marked by consistent improvement and impact.

He emphasized that the platform exists to nurture young talents in line with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s vision to empower youths across the state.

Mr. Ezekiel Otohinoyi, the NYSC Lokoja Local Government Inspector (LGI), lauded Hon. Isah for creating a supportive and growth-driven environment for corps members.

He recalled the special adviser’s own NYSC experience in Akwa Ibom State in 2005, applauding how that background has shaped his current commitment to mentoring others.

In her remarks, Miss Toluwaloju expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Isah and the Lugard TV team for their guidance, calling her service year in Kogi State a pivotal experience. She described the opportunity as one that not only enhanced her professional skills but also deepened her understanding of media operations and public service.

Toluwaloju praised the supportive environment provided by the office, which, she said, allowed her to grow with confidence and purpose. She also commended the inclusive leadership style of Hon. Isah, noting that it inspired her to continue contributing meaningfully to society beyond her NYSC year.
