The Special Adviser on Media to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Ismaila Isah, recently hosted rising star Ajemo, a fast-emerging music sensation, at his office in the Government House, Lokoja. During the visit, he reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting local talents and boosting the entertainment industry’s growth.
Hon. Isah made this known during a courtesy visit by Usman Ochi, a fast-rising music sensation known by his stage name Ajemo, at his office at the Government House in Lokoja.

He emphasized that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is focused on creating a vibrant creative sector, recognizing its potential to diversify the state’s economy and provide job opportunities for young people.
Hon. Isah also spoke about the need for collaborations to promote Kogi musical talents with the aim of projecting the state’s rich cultural heritage to both national and international audiences.
Earlier, Ajemo, who also featured on Lugard TV’s Entertainment Corner, shared his experiences in the music industry, including the inspiration behind his career and the challenges he had overcome.

He expressed appreciation to Governor Ododo for his transformational impact across Kogi State and pledged his continued support for initiatives that preserve and promote the state’s cultural identity.
