Kogi Poly Approves 2024/2025 Results, Celebrates 56 Students with Distinction

The Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has approved the results of the 2024/2025 academic session, announcing 56 outstanding students who graduated with distinctions.

This was revealed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Director of Public Relations and Protocol, Mrs. Uredo Omale, following the 127th meeting of the Academic Board held on Monday.

“The Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic has considered and approved the second-semester results of ND II and HND II students across various departments and programmes in the institution. A total of 56 students graduated with Distinctions 20 from the National Diploma (ND II) and 36 from the Higher National Diploma (HND II) programmes,” Omale stated.

The meeting, held at the Academic Office Complex, was chaired by the Rector and Chairman of the Academic Board, Professor Salisu Usman.

Professor Usman commended the Central Result Verification Committee, led by the Deputy Rector, Dr. Samuel Olowo, for its professionalism and thoroughness in reviewing the results.

He also acknowledged the efforts of Deans of Schools, Heads of Departments, and the Director of the Information Technology Resources Centre (ITRC) for their dedication throughout the process.

The Rector further expressed appreciation to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his unwavering support in fostering academic excellence and infrastructural growth in the institution.

He urged the graduating students to uphold the values of hard work and integrity as ambassadors of the Polytechnic while encouraging continuing students to remain focused and disciplined.

Professor Usman reaffirmed the management’s commitment to transparency, academic integrity, and the continuous development of students across all fields of study.
