New Year: Gov. Ododo Reaffirms Vision for Shared Prosperity

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo has pledged renewed efforts towards economic growth and shared prosperity under his administration.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media Hon. Ismaila Isah, the Governor reflected on the progress made in 2025, noting steady improvements in the state’s economy and the successful implementation of policies aimed at raising the standard of living for all Kogites.

Governor Ododo emphasized that 2026 will mark a decisive year for Kogi State, guided by the recently passed “ Budget of Shared Prosperity” , which prioritizes key sectors such as agriculture, education, health, security, and job creation.

He assured that the government remains committed to sustaining growth by supporting local industries, empowering youths, strengthening healthcare delivery, and improving infrastructure across the state.

The Governor emphasized the importance of fiscal discipline and transparent governance to ensure that resources are managed wisely for the benefit of every citizen.

“Together, we shall build a Kogi State where prosperity is shared, opportunities abound, and no one is left behind, calling on all Kogites to remain united, law-abiding, and resilient as they work towards a brighter future”.

Governor Ododo further prayed for peace, good health, and success for all residents in the coming year, reaffirming his administration’s dedication to delivering results that transform lives.
