President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo as one of Nigeria’s youngest and most promising leaders.
In a message conveyed through the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, to mark the Governor’s birthday, President Tinubu outlined the governor’s journey from an accomplished accountant and auditor-general for local governments in Kogi State to becoming the state’s governor.
The President commended Governor Ododo for implementing policies and programmes that prioritise the welfare and development of the people of Kogi State.
He encouraged the governor to continue deepening the impact of these initiatives to ensure broader socio-economic prosperity across the state.
The President also noted the positive collaboration between the Kogi State government and the federal government under the Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said has facilitated expanded economic opportunities and strengthened internally generated revenue (IGR) systems within the state.
The statement further said the cooperation between Kogi state and the federal government has created an enabling environment for sustainable growth, empowering Governor Ododo’s administration to pursue prosperity-driven policies in the best interest of the people.
