Tinubu, Governors Pray for Nigeria’s Stability at Kaaba

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni have prayed for Nigeria’s peace, unity, stability and prosperity during a visit to the Holy Kaaba in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The prayers were offered during the President’s Umrah pilgrimage, where members of his delegation were granted access to Islam’s holiest sanctuary.

Speaking in separate interviews after the visit, the governors described the opportunity to enter the Kaaba as a rare spiritual privilege and a lifetime achievement.

Governor Sani said the experience provided an opportunity to seek divine intervention for Nigeria, particularly at a critical period in the country’s history.

He said their prayers centred on national unity, peace and harmony, expressing confidence that their supplications would be answered.

Sani also appreciated President Tinubu for extending the opportunity to members of his delegation, describing the gesture as a demonstration of the President’s consideration for others.

He said the President invited some members of his delegation to accompany him into the sacred sanctuary, giving them an opportunity they might not have experienced otherwise.

Similarly, Governor Buni described entering the Kaaba as a significant milestone in the life of every Muslim, noting that the opportunity was a privilege granted by Allah.

He said they also prayed for divine blessings upon Nigeria, their respective states and the wellbeing of their people.

According to Buni, their supplications focused on peace, prosperity and stability, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to perform the spiritual exercise.

Also speaking, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Group, Abdulkabir Adisa Aliu, described entering the Kaaba as the fulfilment of a lifelong spiritual aspiration.

Aliu thanked President Tinubu for making the experience possible, recalling that he had long prayed for the opportunity to enter the sacred sanctuary.

He also prayed for divine guidance, good health and continued success for the President, expressing hope that Nigeria would achieve greater prosperity under his administration.

President Tinubu and members of his delegation were granted access to the Holy Kaaba by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The President expressed appreciation to the Saudi monarch for the honour, saying he also used the opportunity to pray for Nigeria’s peace, unity, development and prosperity.

He reaffirmed his commitment to building a stronger nation and securing a better future for Nigerians.
