Radio Nigeria Prime FM Honours Immediate Past General Manager

It was an atmosphere of joy, tributes and prayers as the management and staff of Radio Nigeria Prime FM, Lokoja, gathered to celebrate the immediate past General Manager, Alhaji Adeiza Momoh Jimoh.

The get together and send-forth ceremony, held at the premises of Prime FM, was organised in honour of Alhaji Adeiza following his promotion to the position of Deputy Director, News, North Central Zone of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Zonal Headquarters, Lafia, Nasarawa State.

In an emotion-filled address, the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Prime FM, Lokoja, Mr. Alfa Yakub, described Alhaji Adeiza as a source of inspiration, encouragement and mentorship to members of staff.

He commended his leadership style, dedication and commitment to maintaining high standards in programming and news reportage.

Mr. Yakub also charged staff to sustain a positive attitude to work and uphold professionalism in the discharge of their duties.

In his goodwill message, the Head of Engineering, Engineer John Obadofin described the former General Manager as a disciplined and detribalised leader, praying God to continue to guide and protect him.

Similarly, the Head of Administration, Mr. Robert Edime, described Alhaji Adeiza as a father figure who has impacted the station positively.

Also, the Head of Audit, Mallam Musa Ochu, urged staff to emulate the exemplary character, work ethic and dedication of Alhaji Adeiza.

Other members of staff also paid glowing tributes to the former General Manager, wished him success in his new assignment, noting that his absence would be greatly felt.

Responding, the Deputy Director News, FRCN, North Central Zone, Alhaji Adeiza expressed gratitude for the warm reception and overwhelming show of love extended to him.

He noted that during his over 12-year journey as General Manager, Prime FM recorded notable achievements, including the construction of a new studio complex at Mount Patti.

Alhaji Adeiza who is also the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Vice President Zone D, emphasised the importance of cordial working relationships among staff and expressed appreciation for their support, assuring them of his continued commitment to contributing towards the growth of the station.

Highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of gifts to Alhaji Adeiza, alongside awards to staff members who distinguished themselves in their respective departments.
