Gov. Ododo Pays Condolence Visit to Families of Late Special Adviser on Security, James Onoja

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has paid a condolence visit to the family of late James Onoja, Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Idah Federal Constituency, and former Chairman of Igalamela Odolu Local Government Area.

The governor visited the family residence in Apatega, Igalamela Odolu Local Government Area, where he expressed heartfelt sympathy and described the death of James as a profound loss not only to his immediate family but to Kogi State as a whole.

Governor Ododo noted that the late James was a young and dedicated leader known for his loyalty, commitment, and passion for community development, particularly at the grassroots level.

He urged the family to take comfort in the impactful life he lived and the enduring legacy of service he left behind.

The governor prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of deceased and asked God to grant the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

He also assured them of his continued support for the family.

Also speaking, the Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Bello, commiserated with the family, describing the late James as a committed and dependable party member.

He prayed for divine strength and consolation for the bereaved family.

The Chairman of Igalamela Odolu Local Government Area, Cosmos Atabo, thanked Governor Ododo for identifying with the family in their moment of grief and prayed that God grants the family the fortitude to endure the loss.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Sunday Onojah expressed deep appreciation to the governor for the condolence visit and acknowledged the opportunities given to the late James to serve in various capacities by the administration.

He appealed for government’s continued support for the family despite the demise of their son and described the governor’s visit as a mark of compassion and recognition of James’ contributions to the party and the community.

In a related development, Governor Ododo paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Suleiman Jatto, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Creative Arts, following his passing.

Governor Ododo joined the bereaved family in Okene where he prayed for the strength from God for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
