Ododo Continuity Network Pledges Support for Governor Ododo’s Re-election

The Ododo Continuity Network, a socio-political network of people from Kogi East Senatorial District spread across different parts of Nigeria, has assured of its total support and mobilisation of members toward the re-election of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The group gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House, Lokoja.

Speaking during the visit, the National President of the Network, Mr. Ugbede Samuel, commended Governor Ododo for what he described as a progressive and inclusive administration.

He noted that the Governor has continued to build on the foundations of good governance through people-oriented policies and programmes across the state.

He further stated that the Ododo Continuity Network was impressed with the pace of development under the current administration, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, security, youth empowerment and civil service welfare, adding that these achievements justified the need for continuity in office by Governor Ododo beyond 2027.

Also speaking, an elder of the Network, Alhaji Dan Suleiman Aye, thanked Governor Ododo for his people-centred leadership style and his commitment to unity across ethnic and political lines.

He assured the Governor that the group is working on logistics and operational needs to enable it effectively mobilise grassroots support ahead of the next election.

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, who led the group on the visit, assured the Network of the state government’s appreciation for their loyalty and commitment.

He described the group as a credible platform that aligns with the vision of inclusive governance and sustainable development by the administration.

He urged members of the Network to continue to promote peace, unity and constructive political engagement, stressing that their support would further strengthen the Governor’s reform agenda.

Responding, Governor Ododo expressed gratitude to members of the Ododo Continuity Network for their visit, support and confidence in his administration.

He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering good governance and ensuring that development reaches all parts of the state without discrimination.

He assured the delegation that his administration would continue to prioritise policies and programmes that improve the welfare of the people, while calling on the Network to remain law-abiding, united and focused on grassroots mobilisation anchored on peace and development.
