Kogi Government Strengthens Civil Service with Leadership Training

As part of efforts to enhance governance and public service delivery, the Kogi State Government is hosting a high-level leadership development session aimed at transforming the state’s civil service.

The event, themed “Transforming Kogi State Civil Service Through Innovation and Result-Driven Leadership,” is taking place at the State Secretariat in Lokoja. The initiative is designed to equip top civil servants with global best practices to improve efficiency, accountability, and innovation in public administration.

Representing Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Head of Civil Service, Dr. Elijah Adeiza Evinemi, convened the session, bringing together Permanent Secretaries and Directors for an intensive engagement. The training is being led by Dr. Adams Adeiza, an Associate Professor at Mila University, Malaysia, who is sharing insights on modern leadership strategies and effective service delivery models.
