In a continuing show of his commitment to youth empowerment and grassroots engagement, Hon. Oladele John Nihi, the Special Adviser on Youth and Student Affairs to the Kogi State Governor, has once again extended a hand of support to a young indigene of Okun land.
This time, the recipient is Mr. Oloruntoba Victor Dele from the Ila community in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, who was gifted a brand-new motorcycle by the youth-focused political aide.
The surprise presentation took place at Hon. Nihi’s residence, where Mr. Oloruntoba was visibly moved by the unexpected gesture. According to him, he had only been invited over without any hint of what was to come.
The motorcycle gift, which he described as a “life-changing support,” will go a long way in aiding his daily hustle and boosting his livelihood in a region where mobility is vital for both personal and economic productivity.
While handing over the motorcycle, Hon. Nihi emphasized that the gesture was not just a personal gift, but a symbol of appreciation to the vibrant Okun youths who have shown consistent support for the administration of Governor Usman Ododo. He applauded their loyalty, participation, and strong community spirit, describing them as critical partners in the state’s development journey.
Hon. Nihi further explained that empowering youths through practical, impactful means is one of his driving motivations as a public servant.
He reiterated his belief that when young people are given the right tools and opportunities, they contribute significantly to community development and are less vulnerable to negative influences.
This act of empowerment adds to Hon. Nihi’s growing reputation as a leader who not only speaks about youth development but takes concrete steps to make it happen.
Over time, his efforts have touched several young lives across Kogi State, reinforcing the message that youth empowerment should be practical, consistent, and community-centered.
