Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his victory at the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential primary .
In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, Governor Ododo described the victory as a strong endorsement of the President’s leadership and reforms.
The Governor said the outcome of the primary reflected the confidence of party members and Nigerians in the administration of President Tinubu.
According to him, Kogi State remains fully committed to supporting the President’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Governor Ododo described President Tinubu’s re-election project as a collective responsibility for the people of Kogi State in view of the Federal Government’s support for the development of the state.
He cited key federal approvals, including plans for the establishment of an airport, a Free Trade Zone, and an Agricultural Processing Zone, as major projects capable of boosting the state’s economy.
Governor Ododo also commended President Tinubu for pursuing bold economic reforms and for participating in the democratic process despite his position as National Leader of the APC.
He assured President Tinubu of the continued support of the government and people of Kogi State as preparation begin for the 2027 general elections.
