Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has hosted Kogi-born Queen Aisha Salau Audu, winner of the Little Miss Nigeria 2026 pageant, and her counterpart, Queen Pristine Somadina Chinedu.
The two queens visited the Government House, Lokoja, on Saturday, following Aisha’s emergence as the overall winner of the national competition.
Aisha, a 10-year-old Ebira indigene of Kogi State and immediate past Little Miss Kogi, clinched the national crown, bringing recognition to the state.
Pristine, who represented Imo State, emerged as the second runner-up and won the Little Miss Nigeria International crown.
During the visit, Aisha thanked Governor Ododo for receiving her and giving her the opportunity to celebrate her achievement with the government and people of Kogi State.
She also pledged to represent Kogi State with dignity and serve as a positive example to other children.
The visit celebrated the achievements of the two young queens and underscored the importance of nurturing children’s talents and building their confidence.
The Little Miss Nigeria pageant promotes children’s confidence, talent, leadership, cultural awareness and self-expression, providing a platform for young participants to showcase their abilities.
Aisha’s victory is a source of pride for her family and community and an inspiration to children in Kogi State and beyond.
