Stakeholders of Ogaminana Central Ward in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State have celebrated the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Engr. Aliyu Momoh Ezzu, who was in the community for a political engagement.
The event, hosted by the Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Media, Hon. Ismaila Isah, brought together APC leaders, stakeholders, supporters and grassroots mobilisers to reaffirm their commitment to the growth and success of the party.
Speaking at the event, Engr. Aliyu Momoh Ezzu highlighted the benefits of the APC government to the people of Adavi Local Government Area, citing the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, the Zariagi International Airport and other key projects as notable developments in the area.
The APC State Chairman also acknowledged ongoing road projects executed in Adavi local government by the APC administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He urged the people of Adavi local government to appreciate the contributions of former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello by supporting his aspiration as a Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District.
Engr. Ezzu further urged Adavi residents to vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
He also acknowledged the contribution of the Director-General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, whom he said played a key role in bringing the Barefoot Renewable Energy College to CUSTECH.
Also speaking, the APC Chairmanship Candidate for Adavi Local Government Area, Hon. Sule Ozovehe Jimoh, described Engr. Aliyu Momoh Ezzu as a leader who has consistently supported others to grow as individuals and groups.
He recalled his relationship with Engr. Ezzu during his previous assignments as Special Adviser on Project Monitoring to the Governor of the state.
Hon. Sule said he was delighted to see Engr. Ezzu emerge as APC State Chairman, noting that the chairman supported and encouraged him when he expressed his ambition to contest the Adavi chairmanship position.
In his remarks, Hon. Ismaila Isah expressed appreciation to the APC State Chairman for attending the gathering and commended party members and stakeholders for their continued commitment to the APC.
He urged members of the party in Ogaminana Central Ward to remain united and work collectively for the success of all APC candidates.
As part of the celebration, Hon. Ismaila Isah donated campaign materials, including branded T-shirts, face caps and campaign posters to the chairmanship candidate of the party in Adavi local government as well as a customized APC plaque to APC State Chairman.
The gathering ended with a renewed commitment by stakeholders to strengthen the APC structure and mobilise support for the party across Adavi Local Government Area.
