Gov. Ododo Orders Immediate Restoration of Power to Obehira-Eba Community

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has ordered the immediate restoration of power to Obehira-Eba community in Okene Local Government Area, addressing the long-standing power supply issues faced by the residents.

The Governor made the directive during a brief visit to the community, where he was warmly welcomed after returning from Ondo State, where he had joined the celebrations following Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s victory in the state’s governorship election.

Moved by the persistent power outages that have troubled the community for months, Governor Ododo assured residents that action would be taken without delay. He also emphasized that Obehira-Eba would benefit from ongoing upgrades to the state’s power infrastructure, ensuring the issue is resolved long-term.

The residents expressed immense relief, recognizing the significant positive impact that restored power would have on local businesses, healthcare, and education in the area.
