Wild Fusion Digital Centre Launches Ethical Hacking Course to Tackle Nigeria’s Cybersecurity Skills Gap

Wild Fusion Digital Centre (WDC), a leading provider of practical digital marketing and technology training in Nigeria, has launched a new Certified Ethical Hacking course aimed at addressing the growing shortage of cybersecurity professionals in the country.

The advanced program, offered in partnership with EC-Council, a globally recognized authority in cybersecurity certification provides in-person, hands-on training for students and corporate teams in Lagos. The initiative enables participants to earn industry-standard credentials locally, without the need to travel abroad.

According to WDC, the new course is part of a broader effort to bridge Nigeria’s cybersecurity talent gap amid rising digital threats driven by the rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across sectors. The Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria (CSEAN) has consistently highlighted the lack of skilled professionals to manage the increasing frequency and sophistication of cyberattacks.

The new offering includes globally recognized certifications such as the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified SOC Analyst (CSA), and Blockchain Finance Certification (BFC), each designed to equip learners with practical, job-ready skills in penetration testing, threat defense, and secure digital finance systems.

Globally, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 33 percent increase in cybersecurity jobs between 2023 and 2033, underscoring the importance of building a sustainable talent pipeline in Nigeria.

WDC’s expansion into cybersecurity complements its existing portfolio of in-demand courses in Digital Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Data Analytics, reinforcing its position as a key player in Nigeria’s tech education ecosystem.

The centre said the program would benefit three major groups: prospective students seeking globally recognized credentials; corporate organizations aiming to strengthen internal cybersecurity capabilities; and international recruiters and partners interested in accessing certified African tech talent.

WDC urged global employers and training partners to collaborate in developing Nigeria’s cybersecurity capacity and to tap into its database of EC-Council-certified graduates ready to meet the global demand for skilled professionals.
