Arsenal Slip at Molineux as Edozie’s Last-Gasp Goal Shakes Title Race

Arsenal’s grip on the Premier League summit loosened on a dramatic night at Molineux as Wolves clawed back from two goals down to force a 2–2 draw, denying the leaders a chance to stretch clear at the top.

What appeared a routine away victory for Arsenal unravelled late on, reopening the title race and sending belief surging through the home crowd.

The visitors were in control early, moving with authority and purpose as Bukayo Saka struck to end his goal drought before Piero Hincapie doubled the advantage shortly after the interval. With Wolves rooted near the foot of the table, Arsenal looked poised to manage the contest and march on, their dominance seemingly unquestioned.

Momentum swung sharply when Hugo Bueno bent a superb effort into the top corner to ignite hope. Arsenal retreated, inviting pressure, and that hesitation proved costly in stoppage time.

Teenage substitute Tom Edozie, making his Premier League debut, pounced amid defensive confusion to rifle home an unforgettable equaliser, sparking scenes of disbelief on the visiting bench.

The draw leaves Arsenal still ahead but vulnerable, with rivals sensing opportunity as the run-in intensifies.
